Glentoo, a lake in Balmaghie parish, Kirkcudbrightshire, 5 miles W of Castle-Douglas. Lying 220 feet above sea-level, it has an utmost length and breadth of 4 and 2¾ furlongs, and contains pike and perch.Ord. Sur., sh. 5, 1857.
