Hatton, an estate, with a mansion, in Marykirk parish, S Kincardineshire, 3¼ miles SW of Laurencekirk. Its owner, Major-Gen. the Hon. Walter Arbuthnott (b. 1808; suc. 1868), holds 633 acres in the shire, valued at £885 per annum.—Ord. Sur., sh. 57, 1868.
