Burnham, par., township, and vil., SE. Bucks, 2½ miles NE. of Maidenhead -- par., 6866 ac., pop. 2356; township, 6383 ac., pop. 2241; P.O., T.O.; contains Burnham Grove and Burnham House; also the remains of an abbey, founded in 1165. Burnham Beeches (in this par.), part of an ancient forest, is a tract of nearly 600 ac., which has been acquired for the public us.
