Dinas Mowddwy, market town and ry. sta. (Dinas Mawddwy), Mallwyd par., Merioneth, 10 miles SE. of Dolgelly and 227 miles NW. of London; P.O., called D. Mawddwy. Market-day, Saturday; is romantically situated among the mountains at the confluence of the Geryst and the Dyfi, and is a reputed city and prescriptive incorporation.
