Mulgrave Castle, seat of the Marquis of Normanby (who takes hence the title of earl), Lythe par., North-Riding Yorkshire, 4 miles W. of Whitby; stands in a beautiful park; adjacent are the ruins of the old castle, dismantled during the Civil War.
