Slapton, coast par. and vil., Devon - par., 3430 ac. (110 water), pop. 618; vil., 6 miles SW. of Dartmouth; P.O.; 1 mile E. of vil. is Slapton Lea, a sheet of fresh water, 2 miles in length and from ¼ to ½ mile wide, and separated from the sea by a narrow ridge of sand.
