Strata Florida, eccl. dist. and township with ry. sta., Caron par., Cardiganshire, pop. 692; the township is also called Caron Uwch Clawdd; the sta. is 5 miles NE. of Tregaron; 4 miles E. of sta. are the remains of Strata Florida Abbey, founded in 1164.
