Glasson, river port (ry. sta. Glasson Dock), on estuary of river Lune, N. Lancashire, 5 miles SW. of Lancaster, pop. 876; P.O., T.O., called Glasson Dock; is the port of Lancaster; vessels of 400 tons can enter its docks.
