Snodland, par. and vil. with ry. sta., Kent - par. (Snodland and Paddlesworth), 1880 ac., pop. 2826; vil., on river Medway, 6 miles SW. of Rochester by rail; P.O., T.O. The Snodland Mills, paperworks, give employment to many of the inhabitants; lime is also worked. The church is an ancient and interesting structure.
