Lee, par. and ry. sta., Kent, on river Lee, in parl. bor. of Lewisham, 1½ mile SE. of Greenwich, 1238 ac., pop. 14,435; the Merchant Taylors' almshouses are here, and in the churchyard is the grave of Halley (1656-1742), astronomer and mathematician.
