Descriptive Gazetteer Entry for FLANESFORD

FLANESFORD, a quondam priory in Goodrich parish, Hereford; on the river Wye, at Herne Bridge, 4 miles SSW of Ross. It was founded, in 1347, for Angustinian canons, by the Talbots; and the extant remains of it are now a barn.
