The parish includes alsopart of Aldon hamlet, and comprises 1, 551 acres. Real property, £3, 297. Pop., 447. Houses, 93. Part of the land is under hops. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Canterbury. Value, £3o5.* Patron, the Hon. W. J. Stratford. The church is partly Norman, butmainly later English.
