ROUNCTON (East), a township-chapelry in Rudby-in-Cleveland parish, N. R. Yorkshire; on the river Wiske, 2¼ miles N E of Welbury r. station, and 6 S of Yarn. Post-town, Yarn. Acres, 1, 565. Real property, £1, 469. Pop., 114. Houses, 24. R. Grange is thechief residence. The living is annexed to Rudby, in the diocese of York. The church was repaired in 1820.
