RILSTON, a township-chapelry in Burnsall parish, W. R. Yorkshire; 5 miles N N W of Skipton r. station. It has a post-office under Skipton. Acres, 3,050. Real property, £1, 776. Pop., 107. Houses, 22. The living is a p. curacy, annexed to the rectory of Burnsall, in the diocese of Ripon. The church was formerly the private chapel of the Norton family of Norton Tower.
