Post-town, Kegworth, under Derby. Acres, 970. Real property, £2,045. Pop., 165. Houses, 35. The property is divided among a few. The manor belongs to Earl Howe. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Lincoln. Value, £100. Patron, Earl Howe. The church is old, was repaired in 1859, and has a square tower with octagonal spire. There is a freeschool.
