PUCKERIDGE, a village in Standon and Braughin parishes, Herts; near the river Rib, 6½ miles N N E of Ware. It has a post-office under Ware, an Independentchapel, and a recently erected school and lecture room, and it had formerly a chantry, erected in the time of Edward II. Pop., 416.
