NEWPORT and USK railway, a railway in Monmouthshire; from the Eastern Valleys line of the Monmouthshire system, 11½ miles eastward, to a junction with the Coleford, Monmouth, Usk, and Pontypool, at Gwehelog. It was authorised in 1865, on a capital of £138,000 in shares, and £46,000 in loans.
