OSBASTON, a township chiefly in Cadeby parish, but partly in Market-Bosworth parish, Leicester; 1½ mile N E by E of Market-Bosworth. Acres, 1, 230. Real property, £2, 961. Pop., 228. Houses, 45. The manor, with Osbaston Hall, belongs to T. Cope, Esq. A church was formerly here, but has disappeared.
