The parish is a meet for the South Wold hounds. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Lincoln. Value, £170. Patron, alternately W. Gilliat, Esq., and J. W. Floyer, Esq. The church is a thatched edifice of nave and chancel, with a wooden tur.ret. Scott, the commentator, began his ministry here.
