In 1887, John Bartholomew's Gazetteer of the British Isles described Drymen like this:
Drymen, par. and vil. with ry. sta., in co. and 23½ miles SW. of Stirling by rail, 30,850 ac., pop. 1431; P.O., T.O.; and P.O. at sta. (1½ mile S. of vil.), called Drymen Station; 1 Bank.
Drymen is now part of STIRLING Council. Click here for graphs and data of how STIRLING has changed over two centuries. For statistics about Drymen itself, go to Statistics.
