Dalmeny, par. and vil. with ry. sta., Linlithgowshire, 8¾ miles NW. of Edinburgh, 5991 ac., pop. 1660; P.O.; contains part of the parl. bor. of Queensferry; has oil-works; the church is in the purest Norman style; in vicinity is D. Park, seat of the Earl of Rosebery.
