The location is where the name "Kings Mill" appears on the 1887 OS 6 inch map ('England - Oxfordshire: 033', Ordnance Survey 1:10,560 - Epoch 1 (1887). URL: http://www.british-history.ac.uk/mapsheet.aspx?compid=55133&sheetid=6740&ox=3431&oy=3116&zm=1&czm=1&x=437&y=13 Date accessed: 23 January 2011). The 1881 census described Kings Mill as "Land locally situated between the parishes of St. Clement, Marston, and Headington".
