Descriptive gazetteer entries

In 1887, John Bartholomew's Gazetteer of the British Isles described Millwall like this:

Millwall, eccl. dist., Poplar par., Middlesex, in E. of London, pop. 5485; Millwall Junction, ry. sta., is 3 miles E. of Penchurch Street sta., London; Millwall Docks, with ry. sta., Isle of Dogs, are 1 mile S. of Millwall Junction.

This is the only descriptive gazetter entry we have found, but you may be able to find further references to Millwall by doing a full-text search here.
