Descriptive gazetteer entries

In 1870-72, John Marius Wilson's Imperial Gazetteer of England and Wales described Bledlow Ridge like this:

BLEDLOW-RIDGE is a separate charge, a p. curacy, constituted in 1868, and in the patronage of trustees. Its church was previously a chapel of ease.-There are a Primitive Methodist chapel, a public school, and charities £59.

This is the only descriptive gazetter entry we have found, but you may be able to find further references to Bledlow Ridge by doing a full-text search here.
