Watnall, vil. with ry. sta., Greasley par., Notts, 6 miles NW. of Nottingham; P.O. The vil. consists of the 2 hamlets of Watnall Cantelupe and Watnall Chaworth. Watnall Hall has been the seat of the Rollestons since the reign of Queen Elizabeth.
