BROOMFIELD, a parish in Hollingbourn district, Kent; on an affluent of the Medway, 6 miles ESE of Maidstone r. station. Post Town, Leeds, under Maidstone. Acres, 1,430. Real property, £1,431. Pop., 150. Houses, 25. The property is divided among a few. The living is a vicarage, annexed to the vicarage of Leeds, in the diocese of Canterbury. The church is good. A fair is held on 16th May.
