Cheshire, at confluence of rivers Weaver and Mersey, 10 miles NE. of Chester -- par., 13,810 ac. and 887 tidal water and foreshore, pop. 7062; township, 2389 ac., pop. 2489; lordship, 2688 ac., pop. 1087; P.O., T.O., 1 Bank.Market-day, Saturday; has salt-works.
